Description

Chernomorets Youth Soccer School has been a beacon of hope and community for refugee and immigrant children since its establishment in 1997. With a dedicated mission to provide a safe and inclusive environment for youth, we currently serve around 100 children, fostering their love for soccer while promoting health, teamwork, and personal development.

#### Our Mission

At Chernomorets, we believe in the transformative power of sports. We strive to empower young individuals through soccer, helping them develop crucial life skills, build friendships, and integrate into their new communities. Our programs not only focus on athletic development but also on social and emotional well-being, providing a supportive network for children who often face unique challenges.

#### The Need for an AED

As we continue to serve our community, the safety and well-being of our young athletes remain our top priority. Soccer is a physically demanding sport, and while we take all necessary precautions, emergencies can happen. An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a critical piece of equipment that can save lives in the event of a cardiac emergency.

1. Increased Participation: With around 100 children participating in our programs, the risk of medical emergencies increases. Having an AED on-site would provide peace of mind for parents and coaches, encouraging greater participation.

2. Community Safety: Many of our young athletes come from diverse backgrounds, and their health needs may vary. An AED would ensure that we are prepared to respond to emergencies swiftly, regardless of the individual’s medical history.

3. Training Opportunities: Acquiring an AED would also open the door for training opportunities for our coaches and staff, equipping them with the skills needed to respond effectively in emergencies.
