Description

Over 300 kids play for Hershey Soccer with the majority of the 12 and under players focused at Shank Park fields. There icurtently s no AED device available. First responders are the only hope if a cardiac incident occurs.

Having a device located at the restroom buildings would help educate parents that a device was available and when to use it.

There are also youth softball and baseball fields that get used each spring and fall at shank park.

Whether it’s a child, parent or grandparent, if a cardiac incident occurred, having an AED on site could save a life while emergency responders are traveling to aid the person in cardiac arrest.
