At AZCRT (Arizona Community Response Team) we volunteer and participate in a broad range of activities. From Highway Cleanup, Disaster Response, to Youth Sports, and much more, we try to help out where ever we can. Cardiac arrest is a medical emergency, with estimates in the United States equating to nearly half a million deaths per year. Nine out of 10 people who have a cardiac arrest outside of a hospital die — often within minutes and ambiguous to Age! With alarming numbers like that we have decided to make sure all of our members are trained in the use of AEDs and all of our mobile response teams have immediate access to an AED. You never know when or where an emergency might occur but with training and preparedness we strive to be ready to respond if one happens in our vicinity.
