On August 3rd, our 17 year old, Davis Dwight, collapsed during a baseball lesson at Mac N Seitz from Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). His hitting coach, Nik Crouch, and another coach and former Royals player, Mike Macfarlane, jumped in and started CPR. They worked on Davis for over 12 minutes until the paramedics arrived. They never stopped…even when he turned blue. Mac N Seitz did not have an AED but they were able to keep the blood moving so his brain continued to get oxygen until the paramedics could use their AED. We want to gift this amazing organization with an AED. They are true heroes and saved our son’s life.
