Zearing Child Enrichment Center is located in rural Princeton, Illinois. It serves 150 children and is one of the primary childcare centers in community, with a never ending wait list. Zearing serves children 6 weeks to 12 years old. Zearing is a non-profit organization and relies a great deal on fundraising events. Due to funding an AED has not been able to be purchased for the center. Serving as a school nurse and the ZCEC nurse I have seen the increased health concerns with children and eventually the risks if an AED is not purchased for the center.
