Description

Clarksville Summer Explorers is a low-cost, annual summer day camp for children ages 7-12 in southern Indiana. Although the program is operated by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department, the program is open to all southern Indiana residents.

The Summer Explorers program keeps area kids active and entertained for 5 weeks each summer. Activities including swimming, hiking, sports, arts & crafts, and much more. All activities are held in parks across Clarksville. Lunch is also provided to participants free of charge thanks to a partnership with our local schools.

To keep our kids safe, we make sure that all of our camp counselors are CPR/AED certified. Unfortunately, we do not have AEDs out in the parks where our camp is held. Our hope is that through the generous support of our community, we will be able to purchase an AED backpack to take with us on all camp outings.
