Description
My name is Steven Christian, and I serve as a Fair Board Director. I am launching this campaign to secure funding for an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for our small county fair. The initial AED will be installed in our Junior Fair Building, contingent upon sufficient donations. Additionally, it is our intention to obtain a second AED for the Senior Fair Office, which operates monthly.
As part of ongoing improvements to our safety program, we recognize the importance of equipping our facilities with two AEDs to enhance preparedness and ensure the well-being of children in emergency situations. Currently, our Jr Fair Building does not possess a functional AED. Our goal is to install one at the main entrance for maximum accessibility. A second device is needed at the Fair Office building to facilitate prompt access from all classrooms; reaching the existing AED can take more than three minutes.
