Description

Andrew Johnson Golf Club is a public course located in Greeneville, Tennessee, and is home to two local high school golf teams. Every day, dozens of young athletes and community members walk our fairways. We’re proud to be a family-friendly, welcoming course—but we recognize that emergencies can happen to anyone, at any time.

As the Chief Technology Officer here, I want to do everything possible to keep our course a safe space for everyone who visits—from youth and seniors to staff and spectators. We currently do not have an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on site. If a cardiac emergency were to occur, we would be dependent on precious minutes waiting for EMS to arrive. In rural or semi-rural areas like ours, every second truly counts.

We’re asking for help through GotAED to raise funds for a portable AED that can be placed inside our clubhouse and easily moved if needed. Our staff is committed to learning proper CPR and AED use, and this device could give us the tools we need to prevent a tragedy and maybe even save a life.

We know the heart of Greeneville is strong—we see it every day in our players, our students, and our neighbors. Your support would help protect those hearts and ensure that our club remains not just a place of fun and competition, but one of safety and care. Thank you.
