My name is Kelly King and I am a teacher at La Grange Elementary School in La Grange, North Carolina. After attending my annual CPR and first aid course this month I noticed our school did not have an AED on site or the funds to purchase one at this time.
We currently have 520 students and 65 staff members on site. Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) can occur at any time and CPR can not restart a victim’s heart but an AED can. An AED on site can be an essential tool in saving the life of a child or staff member in their critical time of need.
