Description

At Covington Academy, the safety of our students, staff, families, and visitors is one of our highest priorities. Every day, our campus is filled with children learning in classrooms, student-athletes practicing and competing, teachers and staff serving our students, and families attending school and athletic events.

As our school and athletic programs continue to grow, so does our responsibility to be prepared when an emergency happens.

That is why we are working to bring an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to Covington Academy.

During sudden cardiac arrest, every minute matters. An AED can provide lifesaving assistance while emergency medical services are responding. Having an AED readily available on campus gives trained responders another critical tool during those first few minutes of an emergency.

Our long-term goal is to build a Heart-Safe Campus with AED coverage throughout our school and athletic programs. But every big goal has to start somewhere.

Our first goal is simple: get AED #1 on campus.

This AED would help protect not only our students and student-athletes, but also our teachers, coaches, staff members, parents, grandparents, visiting teams, officials, and community members who attend events at Covington Academy.

We hope our families, friends, local businesses, and community will join us in making this first step possible.

Every contribution, regardless of size, moves us closer to having this lifesaving equipment available when it is needed most.

Help us bring AED #1 to Covington Academy and take the first step toward becoming a Heart-Safe Campus.

Because when an emergency happens, being prepared can make all the difference.
