Glencoe Community Football, Inc. (dba Glencoe Youth Football, EIN 93-0887878) is a youth football program in the Hillsboro, Oregon area. The organization has existed in one form or another since 1985. We offer flag football for Kindergarten through 4th grade and tackle football for 4th through 8th grade. We serve the Glencoe High School feeder area and usually have 150+ kids in our program.

Youth football is very expensive to operate due to the high cost of helmets, shoulder pads, jerseys, etc. The helmets must be reconditioned every year, and they have a limited lifespan. The Glencoe area has one of the state’s highest numbers of free or reduced school meal recipients. Therefore, to keep costs to families as low as possible, we have to do significant fundraising each year.

This year, our main focus is raising funds for AEDs. We currently have 2 working AED units; however, we have 4 with expired batteries. Unfortunately, the batteries have been on backorder for 2 years. To ensure a safe playing environment, we want to have at least 6 working AEDs so we can ensure every practice has an available AED.
