Description
The Hammonton Little League is requesting support for the purchase of an additional Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to help ensure the safety of all players, coaches, volunteers, and spectators at our fields and facilities. With hundreds of children and families participating in games, practices, and tournaments throughout the season, the league has a responsibility to be prepared for medical emergencies, including sudden cardiac arrest.
An AED is a life-saving device that can dramatically increase survival rates when used immediately during a cardiac emergency. While the league currently has an AED, the size of our complex, the number of fields in use simultaneously, and the large attendance at events make it critical to have an additional AED accessible without delay. In an emergency, every minute matters, and having another device strategically located could mean the difference between life and death.
The additional AED would improve emergency response coverage across all league activities, reduce response times for medical incidents, and provide peace of mind to parents and community members who entrust the league with the care and safety of their children. This investment would also support coaches and volunteers by ensuring they have the proper tools available while waiting for first responders to arrive.
By securing an additional AED, the Hammonton Little League will continue demonstrating its commitment to providing a safe, prepared, and family-focused environment for the entire community.
We thank you in advance for your support!
