My name is Joseph Cavelius, and I am an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 4027 in Newburgh, New York. I am reaching out to ask for your support in helping our Scout troop obtain an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Our Scouts participate in a wide variety of activities, including camping, hiking, outdoor events, community service projects, and other activities where having immediate access to an AED could be extremely valuable in the event of a cardiac emergency.

We are seeking charitable contributions from local businesses and members of our community to help purchase an AED for the troop. Our goal is to have this important piece of emergency equipment readily available during Scout activities and community events.

A contribution of any amount would be greatly appreciated and would bring us closer to reaching our goal. We would also be grateful if your organization would consider making a full or partial donation toward the purchase of the AED.

Supporting this project would be more than simply donating equipment. It would be an investment in the safety of our Scouts, adult leaders, families, and members of the community who participate in our activities.
