Description
My name is Bill Andrews, owner of Treeline Expeditions. We believe childhood should include muddy shoes, scraped knees, campfires, rivers, and the confidence that comes from trying something new.
At Treeline Expeditions, we design outdoor experiences specifically for kids. Through mountain biking, paddling, hiking, camping, and outdoor education programs, children learn teamwork, resilience, leadership, and a lifelong appreciation for nature. Every year, hundreds of children join us to ride trails, paddle rivers, catch tadpoles, explore creeks, and discover that they are capable of more than they ever imagined.
Our programs intentionally take place in wild, beautiful places—on mountain bike trails, along rivers, and at campsites where children can unplug and fully engage with the natural world. These same remote settings, however, can mean longer emergency response times.
An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) would provide an additional layer of safety for the children and families we serve. While sudden cardiac emergencies are rare, they can happen to anyone—a camper, parent, volunteer, coach, or staff member. In those moments, minutes matter. Because our programs operate in remote outdoor locations that are also used by hikers, cyclists, paddlers, and other visitors, an AED could also serve the broader public when emergency responders are still miles away.
Every child deserves the opportunity to experience adventure in a safe environment. By helping Treeline Expeditions obtain an AED, you are not only supporting our mission of getting kids outdoors—you are providing a lifesaving resource that can protect our participants and potentially anyone enjoying these shared outdoor spaces. Your support will help us continue creating unforgettable adventures while being prepared for the moments that matter most.
