As a Registered Nurse and Volunteer Firefighter, I have seen first-hand how having an Automatic External Defibrillator on-site can truly save lives. Having an AED on-site shouldn’t bean option, but rather an absolute necessity. As a board member of the VMYBA, it is my goal to work together as a community to ensure we get an AED and have it available at the fields in the event of a cardiac event. Our athletes, families, and volunteers deserve this assurance.
