The Montgomery County Department of Public Safety and PulsePoint have teamed up to improve cardiac arrest survival rates in the County by creating a registry of automated external defibrillators (AED). An AED device is the only tool that can save someone in cardiac arrest.
SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY
No applications. No essays. Just a #MontcoAED. Every month, someone will receive $250 for uploading the most AED devices (located in Montgomery County) to the PulsePoint registry. The scholarship contest began on November 1, 2017.

PulsePoint
PulsePoint is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation that works with local public safety agencies to improve communications with citizens and off-duty personnel. By using location-aware mobile devices, they are empowered to help reduce the millions of annual deaths from sudden cardiac arrest.
GotAED
GotAED is a crowdfunding site dedicated to getting AED devices into places where kids learn and play. These facilities have smoke detectors and fire extinguishers; they need AED devices too
